Once upon a time there was a rabbit called Rainbow. She was a colourful rabbit with pink ears, dark black eyes, thin bright whiskers and yellow round paws.

She lived in Epping Forest, near London with her family. Rainbow loved dandelion leaves. Rainbow had them for every meal if possible. She was also scared of wild animals.

One day Rainbow got a letter and she read it. She started jumping about as the letter said there are lots of dandelion leaves near the river side.

Rainbow got up brushed her teeth, had breakfast and got dressed. She was so excited and happy about going to the riverside. Finally, after taking a brave deep breath, she set off to the river side. After few hours of travel hiding from all the dangers Rainbow was at the river bank.

However, out of the trees, came a monster who gobbled Rainbow up. Before she could think about anything she was in the monster’s stomach and she was really really scared.

Suddenly, she realised about the phone she had with her, she called her parents with the speed dial and told them what happened. They were shocked and they came with a big group of family and friends to her rescue. They saw the fat monster near the river. The rabbits started tickling the monster on its feet and tummy and it laughed so loud that Rainbow popped out of its mouth.

Rainbow was out and was glad to see her family and friends. But she was angry at the monster that it had sent her a fake letter to tempt her to the river side. She didn’t want this to happen to any of her friends so they decided to get rid of the monster. The rabbits then tickled the monster harder and it fell into the river and drowned. The rabbits then lived happily ever after in their safe burrows.

Rainbow learned three important lessons

  1. Always tell your parents where you are going
  2. Don’t trust letters from strangers
  3. Always carry your phone
